Dividend Voucher

When there are current shareholders, you start the dividend voucher process by following these steps.

1. On the client menu, click on Register of Members.
2. Click on “Dividend Vouchers”.
3. If there previously created Vouchers, they will be listed here. Click on “Create Dividend Distribution”.
4. Fill up the form;
   • Share Class: Select one from the drop-down.
   • Payment Date: Set a date for the dividend.
   • Dividend Type: Select from Interim or Final.
   • Tax Type: Select from Single-tier or Tax Exempt.
   • Financial Year-end: Set the date for financial year-end.
   • Dividend Rate: If the share class has a fixed mode then this field is disabled.
   • List of Shareholders: List of shareholders will be listed in this section and will be based on the previous field “Share Class” selected.
5. When this dividend is created-first time, your only option other than “Back” is to “Save as Draft”.
6. After the dividend has been saved, the page will redirect back to the Distribution listing. For those with Draft status, you can click on Edit to modify any details or Delete to remove this process.
7. To complete the Dividend Distribution, click on any of the Dividend still with Edit status to open the form.
8. Here the Cosec can make changes and also to upload any related documents.
9. If all details has been filled up, click on “Process Allotment” to create the allotment and this process will be marked as Completed.
10. If the status has been upgraded to Completed, no more changes are allowed.
11. Completed allotment will have a section “Voucher Listing” that lists all vouchers resulting from the dividend distribution.
12. Click on “View” to see the details.
13. On the “Voucher Details” page there is a link “Generate Voucher” where you can generate a PDF version of the voucher. It will be displayed in a new window where the user can download and save in the local computer.
