Shares type section allows Cosec to create multiple shares type for a company. Ordinary shares are automatically created whenever a new client is registered. Please follow these steps to add a new shares type.
- On the client menu, click on Register of Members.
- Click on “Shares Type”.
- You will see first on the list is Ordinary Share. This Ordinary Share cannot be edited.
- Click on “New Share Type”.
- Fill up the form;
- Share Class: Enter the name of this share
- With Voting Rights: Select if this share has voting rights
- Dividend Mode: If dividend mode is fixed, the “Dividend Rate” value needs to be filled. If Flexi is selected then the “Dividend Rate” field is disabled.
- Share Type: This value is to be used in the MBRS section. Please select appropriately.
- Dividend Rate (RM per Share): You will need to enter a value only if “Dividend Mode” field is fixed.
- Series: All shares generated will be prefixed with his series.
- Click on “Save Sharetype” to continue.
- Page will redirect to the Shares Type listing page with the newly-added shares.
This new shares is now availabe in the Allotment and Dividend Vouchers sections.
